Fort Worth Community Mourns Beloved Crossing Guard Found in River

Mark Knowles, affectionately called “Pop,” served as a crossing guard at Lila B. Elementary School in Fort Worth. The police recovered his body from the Trinity River last week. News of his passing deeply affected the local community and the school where he was a beloved figure.
