DENTON COUNTY, Texas — Four massage parlors in North Texas were shut down following a human trafficking investigation led by the Denton County Sheriff’s Office Human Trafficking Unit, authorities said.
The closures involved two businesses in Flower Mound and two in Little Elm. The businesses identified were Lucky Foot Massage and Heavenly Soaking Foot Care in Little Elm, and Eva Massage and Sun Massage in Flower Mound.
Investigators said the establishments were closed due to multiple licensing violations. Authorities also said they found probable trafficking victims during the operation and located evidence of prostitution at the Flower Mound locations.
The Little Elm Police Department and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation assisted in the investigation.
Authorities also seized $1,600 during the operation. Officials said search warrants were executed on two of the businesses after investigators established probable cause of criminal activity.
