The Tennessee Titans officially signed Anthony Hill Jr. to his four-year rookie contract after selecting the former Texas Longhorns standout with the 60th overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Hill arrived in the NFL with an impressive résumé that began at Denton Ryan High School, where he was a five-star recruit and one of the nation’s top linebackers in the Class of 2023. During his high school career, he totaled 303 tackles, 13 sacks and nine forced fumbles, while also contributing offensively with 378 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.
He helped Denton Ryan capture a Texas state championship in 2020, delivering a dominant performance in the title game against Cedar Park High School with 7.5 tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks and a rushing touchdown in a 59-14 victory.
At Texas, Hill quickly became one of college football’s premier defensive players. In his final 2025 season, he recorded 69 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He was also named a finalist for the Butkus Award and earned second-team All-American honors for the second straight year.
Hill previously broke out in 2024 with 113 tackles, eight sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss, cementing his reputation as one of the country’s most disruptive linebackers.
Across 40 games with Texas, Hill amassed 249 tackles, seven interceptions, 31.5 tackles for loss and multiple impact plays that made him one of the Longhorns’ defensive leaders.
