SAN ANTONIO — The City of San Antonio’s Office of Emergency Management is seeking public feedback through July 31 to help update the city’s Hazard Mitigation Plan and strengthen future disaster preparedness efforts.
The city launched a six-minute online survey that asks residents to share input on how San Antonio should prepare for, respond to and reduce the effects of natural and human-caused hazards.
City officials said the feedback will help shape the Hazard Mitigation Plan, which guides emergency planning and risk-reduction strategies.
Residents can complete the survey through the SASpeakUp website.
The Office of Emergency Management will also host three virtual public meetings in July to explain the planning process and gather additional community input.
The meetings are scheduled for:
- Monday, July 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 7, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
All meetings will take place online through Zoom, and residents can register through the SASpeakUp website.
