MANILA, Philippines– Television host and actress Kris Aquino, widely known as the “Queen of All Media,” has announced that she is entering a six-month period of preventive isolation due to ongoing health issues.

Aquino shared that she recently began an intensive immunosuppressant treatment lasting six to eight hours per session, along with other medications that significantly weaken her immune system. As a precaution, she will be staying at her family’s compound in Tarlac to limit exposure to infections and focus on her recovery.

In her message, Aquino acknowledged the emotional toll of her situation and emphasized the uncertainty she now faces. She asked for continued prayers and understanding, especially for her two sons. Her youngest, Bimby, remains by her side throughout her treatment.

Aquino has been open about her battle with multiple autoimmune diseases, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia, among others. These conditions have required strict medical supervision and lifestyle changes.

The isolation is expected to last until early next year, depending on how her treatment progresses. Aquino assured supporters that she would provide health updates when possible and thanked everyone for their ongoing encouragement.
