MANILA — Arci Muñoz shrugged off criticisms about her facial enhancements, saying she remains unfazed by public remarks about her appearance.

Speaking during the special screening of her Sinag Maynila 2026 entry Sweet Escape, the actress addressed long-running discussions about her evolving look.

“I was never bothered. I’m never bothered. I never give a ****. Everybody knows I had that kind of attitude ever since,” she said.

Muñoz noted that with plastic surgery now more openly discussed, she is indifferent to both praise and criticism. She added that she considers herself among those who were early in embracing such procedures.

The actress has been open about undergoing cosmetic enhancements since 2017, though she admitted in a 2025 interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that she has had some regrets.

She said she now adopts a “less is more” approach when it comes to improving her appearance and advised others to think carefully before making similar decisions.

Muñoz stars in “Sweet Escape” alongside South Korean actor Kang Dong-gun. The film, directed by Rommel Ricafort, won Best Sound at the festival’s Gabi ng Parangal.
