BINI brings the heat, cultural pride to Coachella week 2

P-pop girl group BINI performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, during the event’s second weekend on April 17 (US time), delivering a set at the Mojave Stage.

The group—composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena—opened their performance with “Strings,” wearing blue costumes. They followed with “Zero Pressure” and “Out of My Head” in purple outfits.

After their third song, the members introduced themselves to the audience and greeted fans in Filipino and several regional languages, including Cebuano, Bicolano, and Ilocano.

The setlist included “Karera,” “Salamin Salamin,” “Blink Twice,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blush,” “Bikini,” and “Pantropiko.”

Ahead of their performance, the group released a statement expressing support for ABS-CBN in response to reports regarding a possible shutdown proposal.
