‘Wednesday’ season 3 adds Game of Thrones star Lena Headey to cast

DUBLIN, Ireland — Lena Headey has joined the cast of Netflix series “Wednesday” for its upcoming third season, Netflix confirmed on Friday.

Headey will appear as a guest star alongside newly announced cast members Andrew McCarthy and James Lance. The roles of the new cast members were not disclosed.

Production for Season 3 is ongoing in Ireland, with filming taking place near Dublin.

The series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, with returning cast members including Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams.

Other returning cast members include Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Billie Piper, and Fred Armisen.

Netflix previously announced additional Season 3 cast members including Eva Green as Aunt Ophelia, as well as Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.

Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, with Tim Burton serving as director and executive producer, the series follows Wednesday Addams at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts and supernatural beings.
