Vice Ganda expressed regret after announcing he will no longer be able to perform as a guest at Jessica Sanchez’s concert due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

In an Instagram statement posted Saturday, May 16—just hours before the show at the Araneta Coliseum—the comedian-TV host said he would be unable to attend despite looking forward to the performance.

“This is to regretfully inform everyone that I will no longer be performing at Jessica Sanchez’s concert scheduled today, May 16, 2026. Much as I am looking forward to perform in the said concert, I won’t be able to attend and perform due to some unforeseen circumstances,” he said.

No further details were provided about the reason for his withdrawal.

Vice Ganda extended his well-wishes to Sanchez, saying: “I wish Jessica good luck and my heartfelt congratulations in advance. I sincerely hope to work with her in the future.”

Sanchez’s concert still pushed through with a lineup of high-profile guest performers, including Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Morissette, Darren Espanto, and James Reid.
