Award-winning artists Pharrell Williams and Andrea Bocelli will co-direct and perform in a historic concert at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, marking the close of the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity and serving as a celebration for the 2025 Jubilee Year.

The free public event will be held on September 13 in Rome and streamed worldwide, including live via Disney+ in the Philippines on September 14 at 3 a.m.

Pharrell and Bocelli are also serving as executive producers, alongside Nova Sky Stories, Something in the Water, Solina Chau, Mark and Roma Burnett, and Kimbal Musk. Musical direction is by Adam Blackstone, while Sam Wrench will direct, with broadcast production from Jesse Collins Entertainment.

“Fraternity will take center stage, expressed through the universal language of music and the stories of those who have made it a life’s choice,” Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, O.F.M., said in a statement. He added that the concert seeks to inspire “concrete words and actions” to make fraternity “a choice that transforms reality.”

Pharrell described the gathering as “a rare cultural moment where the world stops and collectively tunes in. It is a message of unity and grace for all of humanity.” Bocelli echoed the sentiment, calling it an opportunity to spotlight “humanity with music from the very heart of Christianity and the most important spiritual square, reaching the entire world with a single message of brotherhood and peace.”

Joining the star-studded lineup are John Legend, Karol G, Teddy Swims, Jelly Roll, Clipse, Angélique Kidjo, and the Voices of Fire Gospel Choir. The evening will also feature a drone and light show by Nova Sky Stories inspired by the Sistine Chapel, as well as reflections from global leaders in culture, diplomacy, and sport.
