HOUSTON — Philippine Consul Tanya Gaurano took her oath as Foreign Service Officer, Class II, marking her promotion in the Philippine Foreign Service.
The promotion recognizes Gaurano’s continued service as a Filipino diplomat representing the Philippines and its citizens in the country and overseas.
As a Foreign Service Officer, Class II, Gaurano will continue performing her diplomatic duties under the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Her oath-taking formally confirmed her appointment to the new rank in the Philippine Foreign Service.
