Houston Consulate partners with Comelec for overseas voting forum

HOUSTON — The Philippine Consulate General in Houston, in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV), is inviting Filipinos in the U.S. to attend an Overseas Voters’ Education and Information Dissemination Town Hall Meeting on July 31.

The event aims to provide information on overseas voter registration and the voting process for the 2028 Philippine National Elections. Participants will learn about voter registration requirements, registration procedures and how overseas voting works.

The town hall will be held Friday, July 31, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mabini Hall, Philippine Consulate General in Houston, 9990 Richmond Ave., Suite 100N, Houston.

The Consulate said on-site overseas voter registration will also be available during the event. Attendees are advised to bring the required registration documents.
