South Korean actors Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin will star as a couple whose decade-long relationship faces a major turning point in the upcoming romance series “A Love Other Than Yours.”
The 14-episode Prime Video series follows Namgung Ho, played by Seo, and Lee Mi-do, portrayed by Ahn, after 10 years together. Their relationship begins to change when Mi-do develops feelings for another man.
Seo plays Namgung Ho, an assistant manager at Hunmin Snacks who believes his long-term relationship with Mi-do can overcome any challenge. His confidence is tested when she falls for someone else.
Ahn plays Mi-do, a former aspiring film director whose career has stalled. She meets a man she initially does not like but gradually develops feelings for him, prompting her to reconsider her relationship with Ho.
The couple must decide whether to continue toward marriage or end their relationship and pursue separate paths.
Lee Joo Ahn joins the cast as Han Tae-seung, an ambitious attorney whose life changes after meeting Mi-do. Jo Aram plays Park Su-a, a reserved Hunmin Snacks employee who keeps her distance from others.
Hwang Seung-ki and Lee Garam direct the series from a screenplay written by Yoo Su-Ji.
“A Love Other Than Yours” is scheduled to premiere Sept. 12 on Prime Video.
Seo gained recognition after playing Baek In-ho in the 2016 drama “Cheese in the Trap.” He later starred in “Are You Human?,” “When the Weather Is Fine” and “Boyfriend on Demand,” opposite Blackpink member Jisoo. Before pursuing acting, he was a member of the actor-idol group 5urprise.
Ahn became widely known for playing OB-GYN resident Chu Min-ha in “Hospital Playlist.” She later starred in the historical romance “My Dearest,” earning a Best Actress nomination at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.
