Ruffa Gutierrez ditches pageant return for mentoring future contestants

MANILA, Philippines– Ruffa Gutierrez, a former beauty queen who represented the Philippines at Miss World 32 years ago, has announced she will not return to beauty pageants.

At 50, Gutierrez has decided to focus on mentoring aspiring beauty queens instead.

While she has received offers to participate in pageants again, she expressed a preference for guiding young women who aim to succeed in pageantry.

She believes her experience can help newcomers navigate the competitive field. By stepping back from competing, she plans to focus on mentoring future contestants.

Throughout her career, Gutierrez has not only made a mark in beauty pageants but also in the entertainment industry.

She now aims to share her knowledge and experience with aspiring beauty queens.
