PASAY CITY, Philippines — Rabiya Mateo and Jake Cuenca appeared together onstage as presenters during the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night on Saturday, May 2, at the Mall of Asia Arena, marking their first joint public appearance at a major event.
The pair participated in one of the program’s presentation segments. Cuenca previously confirmed that he is exclusively dating Mateo after the two were seen together in public.
Mateo represented the Philippines at Miss Universe 2020, where she finished in the Top 21.
Also appearing at the event was Celeste Cortesi, who took the stage and displayed her pregnancy during the program. The appearance marked her first major public event since announcing she is expecting her first child with partner Jonathan Sterling. Cortesi, who won Miss Universe Philippines 2022, has said the couple is expecting a baby boy.
The coronation night continued with the selection of finalists competing to succeed Ahtisa Manalo and represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico later this year.
