MANILA. Philippines– Ivy Aquino, selected as the third-round pick by Capital1 in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft, will reunite with Bella Belen, the first overall selection, in the upcoming professional volleyball league.
Aquino, a middle blocker from the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS), was chosen 24th overall and achieved her professional aspirations despite not attending a UAAP or NCAA school.
Aquino will join forces with her childhood friend Belen, who is a three-time UAAP MVP from National University and currently a standout player with Alas Pilipinas.
Belen’s and Aquino’s reunion on the court marks the continuation of their playing days from high school.
