MCALLEN, Texas — A six-member team from the Philippine Consulate General in Houston conducted a two-day consular outreach mission on May 16 to 17, 2026, in McAllen, Texas, to provide services to Filipino and Filipino-American residents.

Consul Von Ryan Pangwi led the team, which offered passport processing, citizenship retention and reacquisition, civil registration, notarization, and overseas voter registration services.

The consular team served clients from the Rio Grande Valley as well as from other parts of Texas, including El Paso and Corpus Christi.

The McAllen outreach marked the second consular mission conducted by the Houston consulate in 2026. The consulate said the program aims to bring services closer to Filipinos within its six-state jurisdiction.
