Berlin sees NFL action again after 35 years

The National Football League (NFL) returned to Berlin for its first regular-season game in 35 years, with the Indianapolis Colts facing the Atlanta Falcons at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

Colts kicker Michael Badgley scored a last-minute field goal, sending the game into overtime in front of 72,203 spectators.

The Colts won 31-25 against the Falcons. The game coincided with the anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s fall, adding historical significance.

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor rushed for 244 yards and scored three touchdowns.

The game showcased the league’s efforts to expand internationally.
