Wembanyama leads Spurs to third straight win over Bulls

CHICAGO — Victor Wembanyama scored 38 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter, to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 121-117 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, marking the Spurs’ third straight win.

Wembanyama added 12 rebounds, five blocks, and six three-pointers, shooting 57.9% from the field. He became the first player in NBA history to record at least 35 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, five blocked shots, and five three-pointers in a single game.

The win was San Antonio’s first in Chicago since March 17, 2021. The Spurs’ defense, including Wembanyama’s key blocks, helped secure the victory in a closely contested game.
