LOS ANGELES, United States — Natalie Portman is expecting her third child at age 44, she confirmed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, saying she feels “very grateful” and excited about the pregnancy.
Portman said she is expecting the child with her partner, French electronic music producer Tanguy Destable, and described the pregnancy as a “miracle” while noting she is feeling well physically.
A publicist for Portman confirmed the pregnancy but did not provide additional details.
Portman shares two children, a 14-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter, with her former husband, dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied. The couple divorced in 2024.
In the interview, Portman also reflected on her upbringing as the child of a fertility doctor and said she is mindful of the challenges many people face with pregnancy.
She said she has multiple upcoming film projects in development, including “The Gallerist,” directed by Cathy Yan, and “Good Sex,” directed by Lena Dunham for Netflix.
