Margaret Qualley’s representative has denied speculation that infidelity or trust issues caused the actress’s separation from musician and producer Jack Antonoff.
In a statement reported by People, Qualley’s camp said reports about the reasons behind the couple’s split are false.
“The narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue. There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship,” the representative said.
The statement added that the former couple continues to care deeply for one another and urged the public to respect their privacy.
“They have deep love and care for one another. There are only two people in this marriage, and the sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy.”
Reports of the breakup emerged after Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding without Qualley. The couple, who began dating in 2021, became engaged in 2022 and married in August 2023 in New Jersey.
Qualley is known for her role in the Oscar-nominated film The Substance, while Antonoff is a Grammy-winning songwriter and record producer.
