MANILA, Philippines — Actress Klea Pineda confirmed on national television that she and Katrice Kierulf ended their relationship after three years together.
Pineda made the announcement during her appearance on the talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday. She said they reached a mutual decision to separate in order to focus on their individual growth.
“We realized we were no longer helping each other grow,” Pineda said during the interview.
Pineda denied allegations of infidelity and emphasized that both she and Kierulf remained loyal throughout their relationship.
The actress described the breakup as painful but necessary. She added that the decision came after long and honest conversations between them.
Kierulf has not issued a public statement regarding the separation as of this writing.
Pineda said she will continue focusing on her acting career while making personal adjustments following the split.
