MANILA, Philippines — Former couple Katrina Halili and Kris Lawrence said on April 24, 2026, that they are both single and have not resumed a romantic relationship, following recent public speculation about their status.
The two made the clarification during an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, hosted by Boy Abunda.
Lawrence said they have not gotten back together, while both confirmed they are currently single. Halili said they are spending time together and enjoying each other’s company.
Lawrence said their renewed interaction has had a positive effect on their daughter, Katie, noting improvements in her mood and behavior since they reconnected earlier in 2026.
Halili described a recent trip to El Nido as a “reset” of their friendship and said it marked a period of renewed bonding between them.
Lawrence said their interactions on social media reflect their actual relationship and are not planned.
The pair said they were not on good terms in 2025 and reconnected after Halili invited Lawrence to her birthday celebration earlier this year.
Halili and Lawrence separated in 2014, two years after the birth of their daughter, and have since maintained a co-parenting arrangement.
