‘Golden’ lands at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for KPop Demon Hunters

“Golden,” a song from the animated film “KPop Demon Hunters,” reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 after seven weeks on the chart.

The song, performed by the fictional K-pop group Huntrix, debuted at number 81 before ascending to the top spot. It displaced Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” from the lead position.

The song achieved 31.7 million streams, 7,000 sales, and 8.4 million radio airplay impressions, according to Billboard reports. “KPop Demon Hunters” has gained notable success on Netflix, ranking as the fourth most popular English-language film.

The film’s soundtrack also secured multiple positions on Spotify’s U.S. 50 chart. The popularity of the film’s music continues to grow, garnering significant attention from the audience.
