Gazini Ganados shines in swimsuit round at MGI All Stars preliminaries

BANGKOK, Thailand — Gazini Ganados ranked among the top performers in the swimsuit segment of the preliminary competition for the MGI All Stars after earning an average score of 9.79 from judges during the event held Thursday at the MGI Hall.

Ganados, one of five representatives from the Philippines, received perfect scores of 10 from five of the eight judges: Osmel Sousa, Isabella Menin, Natalie Glebova, Psi Scott and Jojo Bragais.

Her score placed her third in the swimsuit competition. The segment was topped by Faith Maria Porter of Ghana, who recorded an average score of 9.88.

Porter also led the preliminary “bare-face” competition on May 27 with a score of 9.74 and ranked second in the evening gown segment with a score of 9.50.

Ganados posted an average score of 9.39 in the evening gown competition and 8.01 in the bare-face segment.

Organizers describe MGI All Stars as a pageant that brings together former contestants from international beauty competitions who are between 20 and 40 years old. The competition is open to mothers, married women and transgender women.

The other Philippine representatives are Keylyn Trajano, Alexia Nuñez, Imelda Schweighart and Fuschia Anne Ravena.

Under the competition format, judges account for 70 percent of a contestant’s overall score, while public voting contributes the remaining 30 percent. Voting for the preliminary performances remains open until May 30 at 6 p.m. Bangkok time.

The grand final is scheduled for May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The competition will be streamed live through the YouTube channels of PlayTime Entertainment and Grand TV.
