MANILA, Philippines — Gary Valenciano is set to launch his new podcast, “Unshaken: Stories of Grit and Grace,” on May 25, featuring conversations about faith, resilience, and life’s most challenging moments.

Valenciano announced the premiere on Facebook, revealing that Kim Atienza will be the podcast’s first guest.

“‘Unshaken with Gary Valenciano: Stories of Grit and Grace’ premieres tomorrow — Monday, May 25 at 12NN, and our very first guest, Kuya Kim Atienza. Excited to share this journey with all of you. Moments of grit, grace, faith, and hope through life’s shaking seasons,” the singer wrote.

The veteran performer first confirmed plans for the podcast in February, describing it as a platform that explores the highs and lows of faith through meaningful conversations with various personalities.

Valenciano admitted he initially doubted whether he could host a talk-driven show, but eventually realized that what mattered most was connecting deeply with his guests.

“My first reaction was, can I actually do it? Being the host of a talk show is something you need to be made of, and I felt that I was not sure if I had it in me,” he said.

“It is just me going into the heart [of the guests], which is basically what I try to do in every interview I had,” he added.

Other confirmed guests for the podcast include James Reid, Martin Nievera, Michael V, Coco Martin, Abi Marquez, and Jay Joseph Roncesvalles.

According to Valenciano, he prepares for interviews by learning key details about his guests, but avoids over-researching so conversations can remain genuine and heartfelt.

The “Unshaken: Stories of Grit and Grace” podcast also coincides with the 40th anniversary of Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management, Inc., the entertainment company founded by Valenciano and his wife, Angeli Pangilinan.
