MANILA, Philippines — Chef and content creator Erwan Heussaff said he has no objection to his wife, actress Anne Curtis, working with different leading men in film and television, stating that it forms part of her profession.

Heussaff made the remark in the May 16 episode of Matteo Guidicelli’s program “Matteo G Primetime,” where he addressed questions about Curtis’ romantic and intimate scenes with co-stars.

Heussaff said he accepted Curtis’ acting roles and noted that he met her after she had already been working in the film industry. He also said he feels awkward when watching her films in public settings because of how other people react to his presence.

Heussaff said the awkwardness comes from public expectations of his reaction rather than discomfort with her work. He added that he sometimes warns staff during screenings involving intimate scenes featuring Curtis and her co-stars.

Heussaff said Curtis was already performing similar roles before they began dating and said he does not see a reason to ask her to stop acting. He compared her work to his own profession as a chef.

Heussaff and Curtis, who married in Queenstown, New Zealand in December 2017, both work in media and content creation and have a daughter.
