MANILA — Actor Enchong Dee accused Air France of alleged racism after he said the airline blocked his ticket during a trip to Europe, forcing him to book an alternative flight and alter his travel route.

In a series of now-expired Instagram Stories, Dee said airline ground staff in Bangkok blocked his ticket without explanation, preventing him from boarding his scheduled flight.

Dee said he then purchased a new ticket with Etihad Airways to continue his यात्रा, adding that he flew to London before proceeding to Paris to comply with travel requirements.

He also alleged that airline personnel threatened to have his Schengen visa revoked, noting that the individuals involved were not immigration officers but airline ground staff.

According to Dee, he had already secured a boarding pass for a Madrid-to-Bangkok flight when he discovered at the airport that his ticket had been blocked.

Despite the incident, Dee later said he adjusted his perspective and continued his trip, noting that he was able to extend his stay in Madrid before traveling to Paris, where he visited landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe.

Air France has not issued a public response to Dee’s statements.
