MANILA, Philippines — Actress Empress Schuck announced that she is expecting her second child with husband Vino Guingona after sharing the news in a video on social media featuring their daughter, Athalia.

Schuck posted the video with the caption “Chapter Four,” showing the family camping in white outfits before the couple revealed a sonogram image.

Actresses Yasmien Kurdi, Sheena Halili and Meg Imperial, along with Nice Print Photography, congratulated the couple. Nice Print Photography created the announcement video.

Schuck and Guingona welcomed Athalia in 2015 and married in 2021.

The pregnancy comes two years after Schuck revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage involving twin embryos.

At the time, Schuck said she and Guingona could have had a larger family and credited her husband for supporting her through the loss.

“We would’ve been a family of four or even five. From two embryos, to one, then to none,” Schuck said.

Schuck also said she struggled to process the miscarriage and accepted that her plans did not always align with what she believed were God’s plans.

Schuck began her career as a child model before moving into acting. Her television and film credits include “Rosalka,” “Super Inggo,” “Sa’yo Lamang,” “Mundo Man ay Magunaw,” “Tuhog” and “The Broken Marriage Vow.”

She most recently appeared in “The Secrets of Hotel 88.”
