WASHINGTON — Disney will raise prices on most of its Disney+ and Hulu streaming plans starting Oct. 21, marking the company’s fourth price increase in four years.
The largest increases will affect ad-free Premium plans, which will rise $2.50 a month to $21.49.
Disney+ Premium and Hulu’s ad-free plan will each increase 13% to $21.49 per month. Their ad-supported plans will rise 50 cents to $12.49.
For individual subscriptions, Disney+ Premium will increase from $18.99 to $21.49, while Disney+ with ads will rise from $11.99 to $12.49. Hulu Premium will also reach $21.49, while Hulu with ads will cost $12.49.
Some bundled plans will also become more expensive.
The Disney+ and Hulu ad-free bundle will increase $2 to $21.99 per month, while the ad-supported version will remain at $12.99.
The Disney+, Hulu and ESPN bundle with ads will rise $2 to $21.99. The Premium Select ad-free version will increase $3 to $32.99.
The Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited bundles will not change. The version with ads will remain at $35.99 per month, while the ad-free plan will stay at $44.99.
Disney’s latest increases come as streaming companies place greater emphasis on profitability after years of focusing on subscriber growth. Apple TV+ raised its prices in August, while NBCUniversal also announced higher prices for Peacock that month.
Disney+ launched in 2019. The company previously raised prices in October 2023, October 2024 and October 2025.
The new Disney+ and Hulu prices will take effect Oct. 21.
