MANILA, Philippines — Actor Derek Ramsay said he is at peace and prioritizing strength for himself and his family following his separation from estranged wife Ellen Adarna.
In an interview with Morly Alinio’s YouTube channel last Saturday, Jan. 24, Ramsay shared that he has regained focus on his health and personal well-being. He revealed that his father is battling stage 4 prostate cancer and that he is dedicating time to support both his parents.
Ramsay also spoke about returning to show business through the series The Kingdom. He said he initially did not plan to resume acting after marrying Adarna, but saw his new project as a “sign” to continue.
He acknowledged facing a “very difficult storm” in life and said the experience has strengthened his perspective. His responses to accusations of cheating and gaslighting by Adarna will be addressed in the second part of the vlog, which has yet to air.
