Filipino gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo secured the bronze medal in the floor exercise final of the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships on Sunday, marking his first podium finish of the tournament.

Yulo’s routine earned a score that placed him third overall, ahead of fellow finalist Arsenii Dukhno. He described the result as “bittersweet” due to finishing ahead of his friend.

Coaches and officials from the Philippine delegation celebrated Yulo’s achievement, which adds to the country’s overall performance at the international competition.

The Junior World Championships brought together junior gymnasts from multiple countries, with medals awarded based on final scores under standard International Gymnastics Federation rules.
