BINI performs ‘A Parallel World’ at Comic-Con panel

MANILA — Filipino girl group BINI performed its latest single, “A Parallel World,” during the “Forgotten Island” panel at San Diego Comic-Con, making a special appearance ahead of the fantasy film’s September release.

The Nation’s Girl Group took the stage in Ballroom 20 to perform the song, which is featured on the movie’s official soundtrack.

“Thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us,” BINI said in a social media post after the performance.

The panel featured the film’s lead stars, Liza Soberano and H.E.R., along with filmmakers Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado.

“Forgotten Island” follows two childhood friends who become trapped in the mystical world of Nakali. The cast also includes Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy and Lea Salonga.

BINI’s Comic-Con appearance comes just days before the group begins its Signals World Tour, which opens on Aug. 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
