Bela Padilla mum on reports of rift with Kim Chiu, Angelica Panganiban

MANILA, Philippines — Bela Padilla declined to discuss the status of her friendship with fellow actresses Kim Chiu and Angelica Panganiban amid speculation of a falling-out among the trio.

Rumors about a rift among the actresses, collectively known as “AngBeKi,” have circulated for months after netizens noticed Padilla’s reduced interactions with Chiu and Panganiban on social media.

Padilla also drew attention with an earlier post in which she expressed disappointment toward people she trusted who allegedly “turned a blind eye” when they could have spoken up for her.

During a recent media event for her upcoming film “Life After You,” Padilla was asked whether she, Chiu and Panganiban remain friends.

“I won’t talk about it muna. Thank you,” she said.

Padilla did not provide further details about the reported rift.

Chiu and Panganiban have likewise not publicly addressed the speculation as of writing.

Padilla, Chiu and Panganiban have been friends for years and have frequently shared their friendship with fans on social media. The trio became known among followers as “AngBeKi,” a combination of their names.

Padilla is currently promoting “Life After You,” in which she stars in the lead role.
