MANILA, Philippines — Actress Bea Alonzo has confirmed her marriage to businessman Vincent Co after sharing photos from their intimate civil wedding on social media.

Alonzo posted a series of black-and-white photos on Instagram on Wednesday, captioning the post simply, “Home.”

The images showed the couple exchanging rings, embracing, sharing a kiss behind Alonzo’s bouquet, and holding a cake with the words “Just Married.” The post also marked the first time Alonzo featured Co on her Instagram account.

Her announcement came a day after reports that the couple had married in a private civil ceremony officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay, who shared a photo with the newlyweds on Facebook.

Two independent sources previously confirmed that Alonzo and Co, an heir to the Puregold retail business, exchanged vows on the evening of July 13 at the Makati mayor’s office.

The ceremony was attended by only four close friends, while both of their parents were absent. Alonzo wore a cream-colored suit dress, while Co wore a short-sleeved barong.

The wedding followed months of speculation after the couple’s reported plans for a ceremony in Spain and a church wedding in Manila did not push through.

Amid reports that disagreements over a prenuptial agreement delayed their earlier wedding plans, Alonzo’s legal counsel said the couple freely and voluntarily signed the agreement without issue.
