Jamie Evangelista, wife of actor Baron Geisler, drew renewed online speculation after she asked on Threads whether it is morally acceptable for a maid or personal assistant to sleep in the same bed as a married employer.
Evangelista posed the question from what she described as the perspective of a “confused wife.”
“Is it normal for an alalay/maid/PA to sleep in the same bed as her married employer?” Evangelista wrote in a Threads post. “Morally acceptable? Asking for a confused wife.”
Evangelista later deleted the post from her Threads account. A netizen captured a screenshot and shared it on Reddit, where other users discussed the post and its possible connection to Evangelista’s marriage.
Evangelista did not state that the question involved her relationship with Geisler. However, several netizens linked the post to the couple amid recent speculation about their marriage.
The post came after Evangelista previously commented on one of Geisler’s Instagram posts and urged him to seek drug rehabilitation.
“Find a drug rehabilitation sponsor who can help you address the root cause of your problems. I doubt a facial can heal that,” Evangelista wrote in the now-deleted comment.
Screenshots of the comment later circulated on social media, prompting speculation about Geisler’s history of substance abuse and whether he had experienced a relapse.
In recent weeks, social media users also noticed Evangelista reposting Instagram content about being married to an alcoholic, as well as quotes about struggles and healing.
Neither Evangelista nor Geisler has publicly confirmed that the social media posts relate to problems within their marriage.
