Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl boost sends U.S. streams up 175%

Bad Bunny saw a massive spike in streaming numbers following his Super Bowl 60 halftime show, with U.S. streams jumping 175% on Monday, Feb. 9, compared to the previous Monday, Feb. 2.

According to Luminate, Bad Bunny received nearly 100 million streams in a single day in the U.S., up from 36.2 million the week before. Globally, his on-demand streams increased 132% compared to Feb. 2, rising from 117 million to 271 million.

His most-streamed songs in the U.S. on Feb. 9 included:

  1. “DtMF” – 10.4 million streams
  2. “Baile Inolvidable” – 6.7 million
  3. “NuevaYol” – 6 million
  4. “Tití Me Preguntó” – 5.4 million
  5. “EoO” – 4.5 million

Apple Music reported that Bad Bunny’s halftime show playlist became the platform’s most-played set list shortly after the performance. The artist landed 23 songs in the Apple Music Daily Top 100 Global chart, including nine in the Top 25 and five in the Top 10, with “DtMF” reaching No. 1. His album Debí Tirar Más Fotos appeared in the Top 10 in 128 countries and topped charts in 46 countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Germany, France, and Spain.

Spotify reported a 470% spike in U.S. streams during the hours immediately following the halftime show, while Amazon Music noted a 480% increase.

Shazam reflected similar engagement, with recognitions across Bad Bunny’s catalog up more than 400% during and immediately after the Super Bowl performance, marking the platform’s biggest day ever for any Latin or non-English-language artist.
