SAN ANTONIO, Texas– AT&T has deployed a Mobile Connectivity Center (MCC) in Hunt, Texas, to assist residents affected by recent flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

Located at The Hunt Store at 1634 TX-39, the MCC provides essential services such as free internet access, computer use, and charging stations for personal devices.

Open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time, the MCC offers 16 computer stations, complimentary Wi-Fi, and multiple charging ports.

AT&T partnered with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) to launch the MCC. Together, they aim to restore communication access and provide immediate technology support to the disaster-impacted community.

The recent flooding caused widespread damage and disrupted daily life for many residents. By setting up the MCC, AT&T seeks to fill urgent connectivity gaps and offer a reliable space for affected individuals to regain access to vital communication tools.

AT&T emphasized its commitment to aiding communities during disasters and highlighted the importance of timely response. The company’s disaster relief initiatives, such as the MCC, are part of a broader effort to help residents recover and stay connected in times of crisis.

The MCC will operate in Hunt for an indefinite period, ensuring residents continue to receive support as they rebuild. Through this initiative, AT&T reinforces its role not only as a telecom provider but also as an active participant in disaster recovery efforts.

As the region continues its recovery, the MCC remains a valuable resource, giving residents access to the tools they need to move forward.
