NHA TRANG, Vietnam — Philippine bet Asia Rose Simpson ranked fourth in Missosology’s final hot picks for Miss World 2026, placing her among the pageant observers’ leading candidates ahead of Saturday’s coronation in Vietnam.
Missosology, a global pageant platform, released its 30-candidate list Saturday, Sept. 5. Vietnam topped the ranking, followed by Nigeria and the Dominican Republic.
The full Top 10 consisted of Vietnam, Nigeria, Dominican Republic, Philippines, France, Denmark, Chile, Brazil, Eritrea and Czech Republic.
Simpson will compete against 110 candidates for the Miss World 2026 crown at the finals in Nha Trang at 7 p.m. local time Saturday, or 8 p.m. in the Philippines.
She has already secured a place in the Top 40 after winning the Head-to-Head challenge for Asia and Oceania.
Simpson is seeking the Philippines’ second Miss World title. Megan Young won the country’s first crown in 2013.
The new Miss World will succeed 2025 titleholder Opal Suchata Chuangsri.
