Ivana Alawi considers letting go of her Bahrain property

MANILA, Philippines– The family of actress and content creator Ivana Alawi is considering selling their family home in Bahrain, citing that no one has lived in the property for years.

In a recent video uploaded to Ivana’s YouTube channel, the actress and her family participated in a lie detector challenge, combining elements of Vanity Fair’s “Lie Detector Series” and the popular interview show “Hot Ones.”

During the game, Ivana’s mother, Fatima, confirmed—while hooked to the polygraph—that she wants to sell the house in Bahrain. The machine registered her statement as truthful.

Fatima explained that although the house underwent renovation five years ago, it remains unoccupied. “Pero totoo ‘yung bahay namin na ‘yun… walang ghosts,” she added jokingly.

Ivana later affirmed that the house is indeed theirs, not rented, and clarified that the absence of family photos in the Bahrain property is due to the family having fully relocated to the Philippines.

She reiterated that the house has been vacant since its 2020 renovation and said she does not foresee herself living in Bahrain again. Her preference, she said, is to reside in either the Philippines or the United States.

Her brother, Hash, also joined the conversation, noting that no one has lived in the house for almost two decades. He recalled that the family moved their belongings to the Philippines around 15 years ago when they returned from Bahrain.

Ivana further explained that the home technically still belongs to their late Moroccan father, whose name remains displayed on the house.
