MANILA, Philippines — Actor Benj Manalo is recovering after undergoing surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his left knee sustained during a basketball game.
Manalo announced the injury on May 18 via Instagram, describing it as the beginning of a “new journey.” The actor previously underwent surgery for a similar ACL injury in his right knee.
In his post, Manalo expressed gratitude and faith, sharing that he finds strength in his belief in God as he continues his recovery. Further updates on his rehabilitation timeline have not been disclosed.
