MANILA, Philippines — KC Concepcion shared a glimpse of her long-awaited date night with her stepfather, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, saying she enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
Concepcion posted photos and a video from their dinner on Instagram Wednesday, Sept. 9.
“Finally… date night with Dad,” Concepcion wrote in her caption. “Missed this. Good food, great stories, the best life advice. LOVE quality time with my family.”
The post included a video of Pangilinan sharing advice for younger people, encouraging them to surrender matters beyond their control and trust in God.
“Surrender—not all matters are in your hands. And whatever matters are not in your hands are in the hands of God Almighty. Everything has a reason. Everything has a purpose. There are no coincidences. You just believe. It’s gonna be okay,” Pangilinan said.
Concepcion also congratulated her mother, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, on her latest project, “Honor Thy Mother,” and expressed hope for more family time.
The family moment came days after Concepcion’s younger sister, Frankie Pangilinan, discussed their relationship and said the sisters had not spoken in a long time.
Frankie said she would not disclose details out of respect for their parents but stressed that KC would always remain her sister.
KC is Cuneta’s eldest daughter with actor Gabby Concepcion. Cuneta and Pangilinan also have two children, Miel and Miguel.
