Southwest Airlines said Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport is among the locations where flights may be delayed, diverted, or canceled between Friday, January 23, and Monday, January 26.
The advisory also covers airports across Texas, the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. Southwest said customers traveling on those dates may rebook or fly standby within 14 days without paying a fare difference, subject to availability.
United Airlines issued a separate advisory that includes George Bush Intercontinental Airport. United said affected passengers can reschedule United-operated flights between January 21 and January 29 with change fees and fare differences waived, provided travel remains in the same cabin and city pair.
Spirit and Frontier Airlines also released advisories that include Bush Intercontinental, offering fee waivers and flexible rebooking options.
Airlines urge passengers to monitor flight status and review updated policies before heading to the airport as the storm develops.
