The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office in Dallas has experienced a series of security threats. On Wednesday, a gunman opened fire at the office, causing multiple fatalities.

This incident follows an alleged bomb threat in August, which led to a temporary evacuation but no injuries.

Investigators are working to identify the shooter and understand their motives. Officials have not released victim details pending family notifications. Authorities are also exploring possible connections between the shooting and the earlier bomb threat, although no confirmed link has been established.

The August bomb threat involved an anonymous call reporting an explosive device inside the office. Law enforcement conducted a thorough search and found no explosives. Since then, security at the facility has been increased amid ongoing concerns for the safety of employees and visitors.

ICE released a statement reaffirming its commitment to protecting staff and cooperating with local authorities to enhance security and pursue justice. They expressed condolences to victims’ families and pledged support during this difficult time.

The Dallas office remains on high alert, with safety protocols under continuous review. Authorities encourage the public to provide any information that could aid the investigation.
