MANILA, Philippines — Actor-director Xian Lim announced on May 3, 2026, that he will graduate in July from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde with a degree in Music Production under the institution’s ETEEAP program.
Lim made the announcement on Instagram, where he posted photos and videos of his academic activities, including a recital, thesis defense, and music-related coursework.
In his post, Lim said he began working at a young age, worked in the United States while studying, and later moved to the Philippines where he pursued a career in entertainment. He said he had worked in the industry for about 15 years and placed his studies on hold during that time.
Lim said he later returned to complete his education, describing his lack of a college degree as a personal concern before re-enrolling. He said he feared failure but continued his studies through the program.
The actor said he will attend graduation ceremonies at the Philippine International Convention Center on July 4, 2026.
Lim previously confirmed studying at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde in 2025, although the exact date of his enrollment was not disclosed.
In 2025, Lim also obtained his commercial pilot license.
