Novak Djokovic acknowledged his advancing age after losing to Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon semifinals on Friday.

The match took place at the All England Club, where Sinner defeated the Serbian player with scores of 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champion, will not appear in the final, marking the first time since 2017 that he won’t compete in the men’s singles final at this tournament.

Djokovic’s last Grand Slam title was at the U.S. Open in 2023, and he has now experienced a seven-Slam title drought.

The match against Sinner highlights Djokovic’s challenges in maintaining his historical performance, despite holding the record for the most Grand Slam victories.
