MANILA — Content creator Wil Dasovich held a groundbreaking ceremony for his new house in Tagaytay, he announced on Instagram on Monday, Feb. 2.
Dasovich shared photos from the ceremony, which marked the start of construction on what appears to be a multistory residence based on images displayed during the event.
“So I committed to try and build a house in the Philippines but I’ve been warned of the risks and all that could go wrong. Friends, family, followers—all have shared with me their own personal horror stories,” he said.
Despite the concerns raised by others, Dasovich said he decided to proceed with the project. “I’m not too worried [because] I have a solid team behind me helping out,” he added, referring to the group managing the construction.
He also said he plans to document the building process on his YouTube channel, which has more than five million subscribers. “I’m also documenting the entire process on YouTube with [more than five] million subscribers watching every move so the pressure is on them,” he said.
Dasovich has recently been linked to actress Rhian Ramos after the two were reportedly seen together at social gatherings and at the actress’ condominium. Both have not issued statements regarding the speculation.
