A Venezuelan detainee, Jose Andres Bordones-Molina, was injured in a shooting at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility, where a gunman opened fire on detainees.

Bordones-Molina was the only survivor among three people shot during the attack.

His family learned about the incident and his injuries through social media. They later confirmed that Bordones-Molina remained in ICE custody and received medical attention following the shooting.

Bordones-Molina entered the United States through the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) One program before being detained by ICE. His relatives expressed concern about his safety, medical care, and limited communication since the incident.

The shooting has prompted questions about the security measures at the Dallas ICE facility. Authorities continue to investigate the motive and identify the assailant responsible for the attack.

Bordones-Molina’s family continues to seek updates on his condition and the details surrounding the shooting. They have called for assurance of his safety and access to proper medical treatment while in custody.
