MANILA, Philippines — Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, collectively known as TVJ, have started the year 2025 with a legal victory.

The Court of Appeals (CA) has confirmed their ownership rights over the “Eat Bulaga” trademark, solidifying their control over the iconic brand that has been a staple of Filipino noontime television for decades.

This ruling is a major milestone for the legendary trio, who have been integral to the success and longevity of “Eat Bulaga.”

The court’s decision reinforces their legal claim to the brand and its identity, ensuring that the show will continue to be under the stewardship of its original creators.

In addition to the legal win, TVJ also revealed an exciting update: a refreshed look for the “Eat Bulaga” studio. The revamp includes state-of-the-art technology and a modern aesthetic designed to enhance the viewing experience. The updated studio aims to reflect current trends and meet the expectations of today’s audience, while staying true to the show’s legacy.

TVJ expressed their satisfaction with both the court’s decision and the studio redesign. They emphasized their commitment to delivering high-quality entertainment that resonates with viewers across generations. The updated studio environment not only reflects the show’s forward-thinking approach but also highlights TVJ’s dedication to maintaining its position as a leading force in Philippine television.

“Eat Bulaga” has been a beloved part of Filipino households for years, known for its humor, engaging segments, and the camaraderie of its hosts.

The combination of legal affirmation and a refreshed studio design positions the show to continue its tradition of providing top-tier entertainment for years to come.

The new studio design is more than just a cosmetic update; it represents a broader commitment to innovation in content delivery. The team behind “Eat Bulaga” is working to enhance interactivity, audience engagement, and the overall quality of the program.
