INDIO, California — At the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the girl group Katseye and the fictional group Huntr/x from “KPop Demon Hunters” performed together on stage with singers EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna during Katseye’s set at the Sahara stage.

Katseye opened their Coachella debut performance with “Touch,” “Debut,” “Mean Girls,” and “Pinky Up.” Yoonchae Jeung then began singing “Golden,” and EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna joined her onstage to perform the track with Katseye members.

The combined group of eight performers sang a slower version of “Golden.” Katseye performed without member Manon Bannerman, who did not appear at the show.

After the collaboration, EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna thanked the audience and embraced Katseye members before the group continued its set with “Gameboy,” “Internet Girl,” “My Way,” “M.I.A.,” “Gnarly,” and “Gabriela,” which included extended dance segments.

Katseye leader Sophia Laforteza acknowledged an audience member waving the Philippine flag during the performance.

Earlier in the day, the musical group BINI performed on the Mojave stage, becoming the first P-pop act to appear at Coachella.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival featured headlining performances by Sabrina Carpenter on the main stage, with Justin Bieber and Karol G also headlining across the festival days. All performers are scheduled to return for the second weekend of the event.
